As digitization increases, the tools and resources available to anyone with a website are growing. At the same time, competition is also increasing, making it more important than ever for businesses to measure and analyze their data. What data is relevant?
Google Analytics
How we love Google Analytics and getting lost in various graphs and reports! The thrill of looking up an anomaly and its explanation is absolutely huge. We are happy to share this joy and insight with you, while we want to relieve and simplify for you.
What can we do for you in Google Analytics?
Yes, how long is a string? Google Analytics contains most of what you need, the question is usually how to find the answer to your specific question. We help with various questions that can range from everything in behavior to technical implementation. An example of behavioral questions can be “why traffic suddenly dropped or increased”, “why are we selling less this year compared to last year?”. For the most part, no technical engineering background is required to work in Google Analytics, but in some cases it is possible (and necessary) to customize certain features and metrics with a little technical finesse. Here we are thinking, for example, of Event tracking. What you might want to know is how many people clicked on the button that says “Contact me”, or how many people clicked on the button that leads to your customer portal.
Google Analytics is simply wonderful and we want to help you understand why!
Stay ahead with Google Analytics 4!
Google Analytics has received an update that we also know as GA4. The update focuses much more on behavior and events than Universal Analytics did, but much is similar. According to Google themselves, it is GA4 that will be updated in the future, so it is important to have a GA4 property set up, so that you are future-proofed as this will be the new way of working. In GA4 it is easier to set up tracking, as they offer automatic tracking on events such as scroll depth, clicks on links and downloading files on your website. Contact us and we will help you with setting up GA4, tracking your most important events and other questions regarding Google Analytics.
Structure your reports and accounts
We are often approached to help “clean up” an Analytics account. We don’t really get the vacuum cleaner and mop out here, however, it is important to review what filters are in place – do you need to clean this up? Or is there an important filter missing? How are your views structured? Maybe they follow a structure that made sense to you 5 years ago but not to those of you in the team now. We also make sure to check and clean up who has access, etc. Even in Google Analytics, good hygiene is important!
In terms of structure, we can also show you how to create a good report or dashboard. With these, you have greater opportunities to follow up your digital initiatives in an effective way. If you don’t want to learn how to create the reports, we can of course do it for you!
Navigating Google Analytics
Sometimes you may need help navigating – with all the information available in Google Analytics, it can be difficult to know how to find the particular report you have in mind. We move through a number of accounts on a daily basis and thanks to that, it’s getting faster and faster for us to find the answers!
Objective
What is the purpose of your website? How do you justify spending 50 000 SEK on advertising this month? It is often difficult to put your finger on what led to the desired or undesired result. We are used to working with companies that have everything from zero defined goals to an extremely clear definition. No matter where you are on your goal setting journey, we are there to discuss and help you determine your goals. Of course, we also make sure that the goals are implemented correctly in your Analytics account.
We also help you with:
Google Search Console
Google Search Console is an important tool that allows you to monitor the technical health of your website.
Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager helps you tailor exactly the data you want to see from your website.
